Welcome to the Lima Area Electrical
Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee’s Website!

The Lima JATC has a new home!

After several months of searching and many discussions by the Committee, a decision was made to make an offer on a property located at 2285 N. Cole Street in Lima. Chairman Ellett and Committeeman Cox signed legal documents on October 16, 2012 to purchase the former First Federal Bank building. This building has approximately 1,800 square feet of existing useable space and the Committee has already had discussions regarding renovation and expansion. The Committee found this building to be a nice facility with room for expansion which will address the training needs of Apprentices and Journeymen workers of IBEW LU #32 for many years. Please thank the Committee for the tremendous amount of work and planning required to make this (finally) a reality rather than discussion. Also, I would like to personally thank the members of IBEW LU #32 and all signatory contractors for their contributions. This would not be a reality without the hard work, dedication, and sacrifice by all who serve the electrical industry in Northwest Ohio. Congratulations, JATC on a job well done.

Apprenticeship classes are held in the evenings, twice a week, from 6-9 pm.

Please check this website often for updates to the training schedule.
